Attems is a name that encompasses the history of wine in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Indeed there is documentation that confirms ownership of land dedicated to viticulture in Collio by the Attems dynasty dating as far back as 1106, whereas the production of Ribolla Gialla and Refosco can be seen listed in the 1764 general ledgers.

The estate extends over 44 hectares of south-facing terraced slopes to the west of Gorizia, protected both from the cold northern winds and the characteristic “bora” wind of Trieste. The area is particularly suited to viticulture, making Friuli Venezia Giulia one of the leading grape-growing regions of Italy already since the end of the 19 th century. Attems promotes both native grapes such as Ribolla Gialla and Friulano, as well as other noble varieties including Sauvignon Banc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Merlot. Given the particularly idyllic environmental conditions, the vineyards flourish and yield their fruits in an ecosystem in which biodiversity reigns.

Attems wines are an expression of the local territory: there is no intervention, from the grapevine to the cellar, which can break the balance of the elements in this terroir .

The Masi Stra' del Milione estate produces three  "Supervenetians" : Grandarella , a full-bodied red made from semi-dried grapes, Rosa dei Masi ,  a fresh and fruity rosé wine but complex and elegant at the same time, and Masianco , a wine with great personality. Modello delle Venezie Rosso  and Bianco form a modern, youthful range, with fresh and vibrant tastes.
