Iphone travel tracking apps

Whether you're traveling for business, charity work, or pleasure, it can be helpful to track your mileage, especially when tax season rolls around. If you are like me, your iPhone is always with you and can be a great tool for keeping mileage records. The following AppGuide will help you decide which mileage app will occupy your home screen.

MileIQ is the gold standard when it comes to tracking mileage. This app comes equipped with all of the bells and whistles, such as smart-drive technology which automatically logs your drive and calculates that drive's value. Classify all of your trips easily and save your drive data in the cloud to access it on a different device if needed. You can even export your data for filing purposes. The app sports a nifty and sharp interface, which is an added bonus. MileIQ allows you to track 40 drives free of charge each month, but if you need to track more, there are subscription services available.

TaxMileage also comes with bells and whistles like MileIQ, minus the automatic drive logging. That doesn't mean that you should dismiss this app, though. Some people prefer to track their mileage manually instead of relying on an app. If that sounds like you, then this is the essential app you'll want.

The iPhone 5S (marketed with a stylized lowercase 's' as iPhone 5s ) is a smartphone designed and marketed by Apple Inc. Part of the iPhone series , the device was unveiled on September 10, 2013, at Apple's Cupertino headquarters . It was released on September 20, 2013, along with its lower-cost counterpart, the iPhone 5c . [11]

The iPhone 5S was the first Apple device to ship with iOS 7 , which introduced a revamped visual appearance and other new features. Designed by Jonathan Ive , iOS 7 departed from skeuomorphic elements used by previous versions of iOS in favor of a flat, colorful design. Among new software features introduced to the iPhone 5S were AirDrop , an ad-hoc Wi-Fi sharing platform; Control Center, a control panel containing a number of commonly used functions; and iTunes Radio , an internet radio service. Earphones known as EarPods were included with the 5S, and Apple released accessories including a case and a dock.

Reception towards the device was generally positive, with some outlets considering it to be the best smartphone available on the market due to its upgraded hardware, Touch ID, and other changes introduced by iOS 7. [12] Some criticized the iPhone 5S for keeping the design and small display of the iPhone 5, [13] and others expressed security concerns about the Touch ID system. [14] Nine million units of the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were sold on their weekend of release, breaking Apple's sales record for iPhones. [15] The iPhone 5S was the best selling phone on all major U.S. carriers in September 2013. [16]

A good product that does what it says and helps to identify what I do in a day, specifically. It would be nice if the phone data uploaded automatically and/or in real time. It would be nice if you could get reports on the phone. Alerts? Generally the best product like this I have seen. […]
